The liquid level sensor is also the liquid level switch. There are still many people in the market or the market is using float type liquid level switches, but with the development of technology, people require higher accuracy level switch, level sensor has gradually replaced float-type liquid level switch.
There are many types of current level sensors, such as photoelectric, capacitive, separate, stainless steel, and multi-point level sensors. Different kinds of applications have different demand scenarios.Just like the liquid level sensor used in the coffee machine and the water level control used in the steam microwave oven will be different. Even the same level sensor may be different. If it is applied to a steam microwave oven, we will consider whether the water tank is fixed or the water tank be taken away to do cleaning? If we assume that the water tank can be taken away, the liquid level switch used in the water level control of the steam microwave oven must not be integrated, so every product detail will affect the conditions of the sensor.
For example, the state that the integrated photoelectric liquid level sensor should meet liquid critical point, but if the water tank of the steam microwave oven (not limited to this product) is designed to be taken away for cleaning, then the photoelectric type is not suitable. Capacitive liquid level sensor is a non-contact type sensor, it can be installed outer side of water container and detect liquids (not limited to water) without contact with water. Photoelectric liquid level sensors are suitable for the fixed water container.Therefore, different liquid level sensors are used in different usage scenarios.
There are various types of level sensors, how do we choose the suitable one for us?
1. Firstly, we should know measure liquid medium: the proportion of impurities in the liquid medium, whether it is easy to scale, whether there is still alcohol, whether there is a chemical reaction in the light, etc., to avoid subsequent use affecting the measurement accuracy of the level sensor;
2. Consider usage environment: such as pressure, temperature, and liquid level range, so as to determine the selection range of the liquid level sensor;
3.Consider the install way: the opening position, caliber, standard, material, etc. of the liquid level sensor on the installation equipment process.
