The airtight non-magnetic tube , equipped with one or more Reed Switches, pass through one or more float balls which are hollow and have ring-shaped magnets. Rising or descending of liquid level will drive floating balls to move together, and the Reed Switch in airtight non-magnetic tube will generate an action of disconnection, which output a switching signal.

1. Can your float switches withstand high temperatures?
⇒ That depends on your definition of high temperature. Some of our miniature models can operate in temperatures up to 130° C maximum.
2. Can the float switches be only used for water and oil applications?
⇒ The float switch can also withstand chemicals, high temperatures and pressure if the correct material of the float is selected. The switches are also not affected by electrical interferences.
3. Can your float switches be used in a pressurized tank?
⇒ Yes, they are intended for pressurized environments.
4. Can your switches be installed where there is no power?
⇒ No. Each float switch will need signal current in order to communicate.
5. How does a built-in magnetic system work?
⇒ A float with a built-in magnetic system moves with the level of the medium to be measured on a guide tube which has one or more reed switch contacts built into it. The magnet actuates the contacts at the pre-set switching heights and thus allows individual levels to be monitored. The simple and tried-and-trusted principle of operation is suitable for a very wide range of applications.
