The magnetic level sensor is large in size, loose in structure, so it requires a large amount of space for installation. Both capacitive and photoelectric level sensors are smaller than it. It is easy to produce dirt after a period of use, because of its structural, cleaning this type level sensor is difficult. Therefore, the magnetic level sensor is not suitable for use in food machinery because it does not meet the food grade standards.


The float is pushed by buoyancy of the liquid, this machincial structure will affect the life of the level sensor. If it is used in a viscous liquid, it may cause the float to become stuck and cannot be detected.


Compared with the float type, the photoelectric water level sensor is smart. The photoelectric type is smaller in size, the head is made of a crystal head material, the detection result will not be effected by the dirt and the liquid viscosity. The control precision is high. Such as the photoelectric level sensor of the EPT sensor can be controlled at ±0.5mm, it is more accurate than the float type of ±3.0mm.
