How to detect the liquid level in hand sanitizer？
1. Capacitive liquid level sensor
Install a capacitive liquid level sensor at the position where the liquid level needs to be detected. For example, the hand sanitizer needs to remind the user when the liquid level falls to 50ml position. Then install the sensor at the 50ml position. When the liquid level drops below 50ml, the sensor gives a signal to remind. After the device receives the signal, the control circuit realizes data transmission or light-up reminder, or buzzer sound reminder, etc.
The method of using a capacitive liquid level sensor is the simplest method, it has a small size (the following is an EPT capacitive liquid level sensor) and a simple installation process. Because it is a non-contact type, it will not have a chemical reaction with the internal liquid.
2. Photoelectric liquid level sensor
The photoelectric liquid level sensor uses the principle of optical refraction to detect the liquid level, which has a high accuracy and reliability and long life. If the hand sanitizer needs to detect that there is no liquid in the container, then install the sensor at the bottom of the side or at the bottom, and it will give a signal when no liquid is detected.
The photoelectric liquid level sensor has a contact type that requires openings, and there are also non-contact types. Different types can be used according to different application functions and structures.
The advantage of using a photoelectric liquid level sensor is that the accuracy and reliability are higher than a capacitive liquid level sensor, but it is not as convenient to install as a capacitive liquid level sensor.
3. Load cell
The load cell is actually a sensor that converts the weight signal into a measurable electrical signal output. The function of real-time detection can be achieved, and the specific amount of hand sanitizer remaining in the container can be accurately detected.
The disadvantage of using load cells is that there are requirements for the device structure.
